- Title
Jules Verne sets off for space station.
- Abstract
The article reports on the launch of the Jules Verne, the first Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) that would deliver supplies to the International Space Station, by the European Space Agency (ESA). The spacecraft has been described as the most sophisticated because of its appealing and refine characteristics. Furthermore, it is noted that the ATV would dock at the station with the use of lasers without being guided by the astronauts. It also cites that the spacecraft would rendezvous with the station in April 2008 and there would be at least four ATVs to be launched after the Jules Verne.
