- Abstract
The field of velocities of elastic waves propagating in a body of heterogeneous rocks is measured. The spectral composition of the response of the bodies of heterogeneous rocks and concrete lining of underground structures to their excitation by hitting with a ball is measured; the spectrum of the response signal is concentrated in the range of 0.7–3.2 kHz. A detachable acoustic pulse sensor in a set with a preamplifier that has the necessary amplitude/frequency characteristic is developed for mounting on an insert in a well with a diameter of 76 mm.
