The article demonstrates that intelligence collected from social media can have tactical value in a kinetic conflict. Topics include battlefield commanders and intelligence analysts need to leverage this new paradigm to significantly increase their intelligence picture; and exploitation of social media can be incredibly more economical and easier to manage than other means, such as deploying a human asset to collect such intelligence.
