By this way, it is aimed to reach a meaning (Kıral, 2020). In other words, literature has been collected and examined (Sak vd., 2021: 230). At the same time, content analyses of the documents are made. The main research question of this study is whether ethical values can be a tool of resistance for local governments against the negatives and risks at post-truth era. As a result of this study, in the post truth era, national and local politics has to take responsibilities, not to use post-truth discourses before and after the elections, prevention of the loss of trust for public administration and politics, governing in a way of sharing information with citizens regarding transparency and accountability principles are concluded.
