- Abstract
In this article, the authors focus on the impact of maternal C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4) expression in dairy cows on the spread of bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV). They inform that tendency of interleukin (IL)-6, IL-10 and interferon gamma expressions are higher in animal with persistently infected (PI) calves. They mention that down-regulation of maternal blood cell CXCR4 requires specific immune responses.
