- Abstract
This article discusses the personal experience of a patient who was diagnosed with melanoma, a type of skin cancer. The patient had a family history of skin cancer and had used sunbeds regularly for many years. The article highlights the dangers of sunbed use and emphasizes the link between sunbeds and the increased risk of melanoma. The incidence of melanoma has been on the rise, and the article suggests that legislation and public information campaigns may be necessary to prevent further cases of melanoma. The patient's story serves as a reminder of the psychological toll that a melanoma diagnosis can have.
