LINFOMA EPITELIOTRÓPICO EM CÃO ADULTO.

- Abstract
O linfoma cutâneo se apresenta de duas formas patológicas distintas: epiteliotrópico e não epiteliotrópico manifestando-se como lesões nodulares isoladas ou múltiplas em forma de placas, úlceras e dermatites esfoliativas. A fotomicrografia exibe o conteúdo de nódulos subcutâneos (lesões em relevo) coletado por meio de punções aspirativas por agulha fina (PAAF), de um cão errante, sem raça definida, que no exame clínico apresentava febre, hiporexia, caquexia, desidratação e pelagem opaca. Na macroscopia, os nódulos eram múltiplos, em forma de placas consistentes, firmes e não aderidas distribuídas por todo o corpo, além de lesões na cavidade oral, face e pênis. Após a coleta, realizou-se o esfregaço do tipo squash que posteriormente foi corado com romanowsky (panótico rápido®). A análise citopatológica, ao longo da varredura na objetiva de 400x e 1000x, demonstrou alta celularidade composta por linfócitos apresentando discreta à moderada anisocitose e pleomorfismo, alta proporção núcleo:citoplasma, citoplasma basofílico e, por vezes, com vacúolos intracitoplasmáticos e núcleos irregulares. Na objetiva de 1000x foi possível notar cromatina nuclear predominantemente frouxa e evidenciação de nucléolos (ponta da seta). Ao fundo da lâmina observou-se uma pequena quantidade de corpúsculos linfoglandulares, sendo acompanhado por discreta a moderada quantidade de neutrófilos íntegros, macrófagos ativados e mastócitos bem diferenciados. Embora haja necessidade de exames histopatológicos e/ou imunohistoquímicos para a confirmação do linfoma cutâneo, muitos estudos mostraram a citologia como uma excelente alternativa de triagem para esta neoplasia, assim como os achados do presente trabalho. Conclui-se que a citologia aspirativa por agulha fina (CAAF) é um exame de triagem com bom valor diagnóstico para o linfoma cutâneo em decorrência da riqueza de informações que podem ser encontradas nela.
