- Abstract
Corruption is a widespread social problem worldwide. Many countries across the world are affected by this phenomenon. The word corruption refers to how individuals entrusted with authority to make decisions misuse their position for personal gain(s). Corruption occurs in both public and private, big and small organizations. The causes of corruption are quite complex ranging from low pay scales and lack of strict punishments to lack of transparency, weak or incapable judicial system and many more. In this paper, we study the major drivers promoting corruption as a part of business execution model.
