- Title
Pharmacists and skin problems: how we can help.
- Abstract
The article examines the role of community pharmacists in addressing skin problems. It discusses the opportunities provided by the Medicines Use Review (MUR) to pharmacists. It suggests that patients should seek advice in a pharmacy for mild to moderate skin problems. The popularity of pharmacies as a convenient and easily accessible source of treatment for skin conditions was due to the introduction of minor ailment schemes in many parts of England and Wales.
