- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the ground activity of Leadbeater's possum Gymnobelideus leadbeateri at the subalpine snowgum woodland located in Mount Baw Baw, Victoria. The study conducts a trapping sessions under the approval of the Deakin University Animal Ethics Committee and the Department of Environment and Primary Industries. Results show that G. leadbeateri may forage on the ground due to shortage of food resources in the canopies and may use dens at ground level.
