- Abstract
The article from the magazine Psicoperspectivas analyzes the initial therapeutic relationship in cases of child sexual abuse from the perspective of the girls, boys, and their therapists. The study was conducted in Chile and involved the participation of six psychologists and six children between the ages of five and eight. Semi-structured interviews and drawing analysis were used to obtain the results. It was found that a good initial therapeutic relationship is characterized by play and positive feelings between the child and the therapist, while a poorly attuned therapeutic attitude and difficulties in the child's relationships can hinder it. The article highlights the importance of play and playful offerings in establishing a good relationship in psychotherapy in cases of child sexual abuse.
