- Abstract
The article presents a study which focuses on the reconsideration of the Maximum Entropy Production conjecture (MEP) for the representation of the total material entropy production due at the same time to both horizontal and vertical heat fluxes. It says that a fixed longwave transmissivity was assumed to obtained the MEP solutions. It adds that MEP can predict the thermal meridional structure of the atmosphere once the isolation is given.
