- Abstract
The article focuses on the rediscovery of sasakia funebris leech in India after 88 years. It states that sasakia funebris are very rare species which are listed as a protected species in the Indian Wildlife Protection act of 1972. It mentions that the species are classified with ground color black, narrow basal red streak, and red basal markings. Moreover, the distribution of the butterfly species occurs in three sub-species that extends from northeastern India to China and Taiwan.
