- Abstract
The author reflects on access to physical examination equipments for patients and physicians. She informs that height-adjustable examination tables offer both shorter and taller patients a safer and easier access than standard fixed-height tables. She mentions that among the occupational categories, nursing aides are at the third highest rate of occupational injuries caused by lifting patients.
