The article discusses online archival resources useful for quantitative historical research on Great Britain. Online resources discussed include: two census collections hosted by the History Data Service in Great Britain, "Histpop: The Online Historical Population Reports Website" and the "Contemporary and Historical Census Collections"; British court records in "The Proceedings of the Old Bailey, 1674-1913"; and others. Other topics discussed include the importance of database organization, with attention to issues such as metadata.
