- Abstract
The article examines the prevalence of the factor XIII deficiency which is considered as a rare coagulition disorder in Sistan and Baluchistan province in Iran. The study takes into account the role of relatives, ethnicity and residence in the high prevalence of the disease. Ethnicity, residency and consanguinity are deemed as important factors on the disease prevalence. Means to prevent the spread of the disease are also mentioned, such as genetic counseling and premarital screening tests.
