The article focuses on the post-Civil War transition of orthodox Basque nationalism in Spain. Various topics discussed include the Basque Nationalist Party (PNV) political influence in Spain, Spanish politician Luis Arana, immobilism of Aranism, symbolism of Spanish political parties, and the orthodox faction of the party in the post-war period in Spain between 1939-1951.
