- Abstract
The article offers information on the political status of the civil rights enforcement laws under the significance of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and the Civil Rights Act of 1968. It analyzes the role of the Civil Rights Division in the U.S. Department of Justice and other political institutions in dismantling the racial disparities and provide the remedial doctrines of antidiscrimination laws for promoting the racial equality.
