- Abstract
The article comments on the U.S. Supreme Court case Berghuis v. Thompkins wherein the court neglected the Right to Remain Silent. It presents an outline of Miranda right and requirement of law enforcement regarding plasticizing Miranda right. It discusses new warning reflected by decision of the U.S. courts according to which a suspect must communicate verbally this wish to the police during interrogations.
