- Abstract
The article discusses the use of GREEN APPLE (an acronym) strategy to guide students in confronting cultural issues (such as prejudice and bias), racism, and classism. It describes the identity markers indicated by each letter which are gender expression, religious beliefs, ethnicity, economic class, age, place, perception of belonging, language, and exceptionality. It helps students learn the diversity of thought, understanding, and interrogating their biases.
