An essay is presented which discusses the diagram that philosopher and biblical commentator Nahmanides included in his commentary on the Torah. It examines the diagram that appears in the 34 manuscripts of Nahmanides' commentary. It is said that the diagram refers to the Levite cities and the open land attached to them and depicts the special interpretation suggested by Nahmanides.
