- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the ability of Japan, South Korea and member countries of ASEAN group to limit the efforts of China regarding its claims to islets and seafloor resources from the East China Sea to the South China Sea. According to the author, China's rise in maritime sector has increased insecurity across the Asian Arc. The author also mentions that, if the relation of China with Japan deteriorates then Australia should take side of Japan.
