- Abstract
The article reports on the challenges and demand for the development of non-invasive clinical biomarkers in a pesticide-exposed population. It mentions the production of organophosphorus (OP) chemicals annually worldwide due to their increased demand for agricultural and other purposes. A study is also presented on haematological test, cholinesterase and lung-function examination which showed substantial decline in expiratory flow rate, biochemical activity and nerve conduction velocity.
