- Abstract
A biography is presented of singer Nadia Tarnawsky, who sang Ukrainian folk music. She comments on her parents and their efforts to teach Ukrainian culture to their daughter. She studied classical music before attending a camp to learn to play the bandura instrument and meeting Julian Kytasty, director of the New York Bandura Ensemble. Kytasty and Tarnawsky's work together is discussed. Tarnawsky's work as a music teacher at the Cleveland Institute of Music is considered as is a production company that she created.
