- Abstract
The article explores the impact of the emerged of iPhone and similar handheld devices on the spatial interaction. The author points that these technologies stimulated half of all architects and urbanists to stop designing new buildings. These people have instead investing into the design and programming of new software that provides for the better utilization of structures and systems. He assessed that these devices allow real-time communication through multiple modes and represents a significant infrastructure of any emergent global democratic society.
