- Abstract
The article discusses the South Korean government's response to Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), or North Korea's, nuclear long-range missile test in early 2016, which consisted of suspending cooperation with North Korean on the joint manufacturing park Kaesong Industrial Complex, North Korea and potentially allowing for the U.S. missile defense system Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) in the Republic of South Korea (ROK).
