- Title
Releasing the brakes on a chromatin-remodeling enzyme.
- Authors
Manning, Benjamin J.; Peterson, Craig L.
- Abstract
The authors discuss the two studies on chromatin-remodeling enzymes. The authors state that the studies revealed how DNA translocase's power can be harnessed by remodeling enzymes, as well as its use of specialized coupling domains which convey the role of nucleosomal epitopes in the regulation of remodeling activity and translocase. The authors mention that the first study was conducted by C. R. Clapier and B. R. Cairns, while the other was conducted by F. Mueller-Planitz and colleagues.
