- Abstract
The article focuses on the author's discussion on instructional technology program in University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She notes that the program integrates the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) definition into curriculum in line with the Educational Communications and Instructional Technology (ECIT). She states that the AECT's definition of the field has guided her teaching as an instructional technology faculty member and explores the program implemented in the university. She adds that the definition of the field is the foundation of their program and the center of their program evaluation in terms of data gathering and problem solving.
