- Abstract
The article offers information related to science. Magnets have fields within which they attract objects containing iron, cobalt, nickel, and other elements. Birds and other animals use magnetic field of the Earth for navigation. A high ultraviolet (UV) index means a high levels of the burning ultraviolet rays of the Sun are reaching the surface of the Earth. Satellites are launched into orbit to measure radiation, the strength of magnetic fields, and other measurements. Many satellites use solar energy for power to operate the equipment they carry.
