- Abstract
Chapter 8 of the Summer 2013 issue of the "Career Planning and Adult Development Journal" is presented. This chapter explores the constructs of science interest development, learning science for social justice and out-of-school learning environments in STEM fields. They discuss the integration of these constructs in building environments for transformative learning to support ethnic minority youth in STEM careers.
