Three cases in which comedones developed in three different peculiar patterns are presented. Comedones developed along the stria nasi, the creases of the forehead and the ear lobule in a girl aged 14 and 2 men aged 73 and 72 years, respectively. A parallelism with keratosis punctata of the palmar creases is proposed. Some anatomical locations seem to facilitate the development of comedones in preexisting pilosebaceous units showing an apparently artificial pattern.
