- Abstract
The article presents information on study involving the isolation of antimicrobial metabolites from the Endophytic fungus Aspergillus obtained from the plant Eucommia ulmoides. In the study, the fungal strain ER15 was taken from the roots of Eucommia ulmoides, and the fungal culture was filtered and then extracted with ethyl acetate. The extract was separated by silica gel column chromatography. Metabolites isolated in this study included ergosterol, cerevisterol, allantoin, and trypacidin.
