- Abstract
The article discusses a study which was conducted for measurements of dynamic compliance, peak airway pressure and airway resistance in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery which involves maximal increase in abdominal pressure through continuous flow of carbon dioxide gas in to the abdominal cavity. The study highlights that the body weight of patients should be considered before applying abdominal pressure in surgery.
