- Abstract
The total mileage of China’s submarine oil and gas pipelines has exceeded 6,500 kilometers. Sudden pipeline damage incidents caused by pipeline corrosion, external forces and natural disasters often occur. How to select a quick and effective repairing plan according to the type of damage incidents is the key to improve repairing efficiency, reduce operational risk and reduce economic losses. Combining with the repairing project of eraek damage of the gas pipeline in an oil and gas field in the East China Sea, and aiming at the severe sea condition and eraek-intensive characteristics of the damaged pipeline, the repairing scheme with elamp is innovatively designed. The scheme breaks through the size limitation of elamp and makes reasonable selection of elamp for repair, so that one elamp can successfully plug two leakage points. Making and using simulation framework of elamp effectively reduces the cleaning workload of pipeline anticorrosive eoating and ensures the elamp installation accuracy. The elamp installation method of fixture is innovated to avoid the construction risk brought by severe sea conditions. In the final practice, the reliability of this repairing scheme is proved, which provides a new idea for similar submarine pipeline repairing projects in the future.
