- Abstract
The article discusses legal issues concerning lakes in Indiana. It explains the riparian rights associated with ownership of property on a lake and the use of public lakes. Also discussed are the Lake Preservation Act of 1974, the right to an unobstructed view, limitations on the public trust doctrine, rights of lakefront property owners, the group pier license and buoy regulations for lakefront properties.
