- Abstract
The article explores how Palaemon elegans protect marine organisms and aquatic ecosystems. Topics include pollutants in the marine environment that are known as emerging pollutants and that can cause adverse ecological effects on marine organisms; and effects that the massive use of sun protection creams has on marine fauna described as a bioindicator of the state of pollution of coastal marine waters.
