- Abstract
In order to improve the performance of CO2 gas fertilizer in minitype plant factories,the application of CO2 gas fertilizer was the research object, and the suitable light intensity of the incubator was kept constant. The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology was adopted,and the porous medium model and component transport model were selected. Three-dimensional numerical simulation of CO2 application performance was carried out according to factors such as gas fertilizer application amount and application height. The results showed that the application process of gas fertilizer had a great influence on the temperature field of the growing area. The reasonable arrangement of fan and entrance of gas fertilizer could effectively avoid the deposition effect of CO2. The optimum position of gas fertilizer application was 0.5 m from the bottom of the incubator in the side wall. The optimum spraying time was 26 s,at this point the internal CO2 concentration was uniform,and the CO2 concentration in the growth zone was 0.125%. The deviation between the simulated value and measured value of CO2 concentration was kept below 8.4% ,and the simulation results were in good agreement with the experimental results,which verified the correctness of the model. The leaf area and plant height of Malabar were significantly increased in the test group with intermittent application of CO2 and the control group with continual application of CO2 ,and the test group was 10.79% and 7.47% higher than the control group respectively.
