Abstract
An interview with an African American civil rights lawyer Fred Gray, is presented. Topics discussed his childhood experiences in his hometown Montgomery in Alabama, his law studies in the Western Reserve University School of Law, and his relationship with his friend E.D. Nixon. It also discusses the rulings in several cases including Gayle v. Browder, NAACP v. Alabama ex rel. Patterson, and Baker v. Carr.
