- Abstract
The article discusses the therapeutic use of fibrinolysis in veterinary medicine. It highlights the clinical utility of antifibrinoytic drugs which is beneficial to dogs compare to people and other species. However, it states that the studies regarding safety, efficacy, and appropriate dosing of these drugs are urgently needed. On the hand, a study is presented describing the effectiveness of these drugs during a surgery on a racing greyhound with appendicular bone tumor.
