- Abstract
Abbreviations AiT antibody incompatible transplantation CDC complement-dependent cytotoxicity DSA donor-specific antibody DATA AVAILABILITY STATEMENT The data that support the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request. We would therefore support the use HLA antibody characterisation methods such as C3d or C1q assay to inform transplant decisions by evaluating specific immunological risks, but this requires to be established in prospective studies. The in vitro C3d generating attribute of HLA-specific antibodies can be used to stratify immune risk in HLA incompatible transplantation by predicting the clinical efficacy of desensitisation.
