- Abstract
The article demonstrates how John Wesley's doctrine of Christian Perfection touches on a significant trust of the gospel which has gifted Christians in their discipleship and mission. Topics include the origins and development of entire sanctification in John Wesley, the development of the concept by the holiness movement, and the influence of Wesleyan soteriology beyond Methodism. A brief overview of developments with regard to Christian life is also discussed.
