- Abstract
The article looks at the changes in community supervision practice in Canada. Community Supervision Officers were required to switch from case managers to change agents based on the training provided under the Strategic Training Initiative in Community Supervision (STICS). The program features a STICS Action Plan, which renders framework in providing interventions on cognitive-behavioral approach to offenders, where it seeks to address their needs like housing, finances, and recreation.
