The article offers information on the experiences of the three nurses who volunteer in Haiti. It cites the experience of Pat Schlosser where she assists in surgery or triage, provide acute and primary care and staff the pharmacy. Scholosser work with issues such as malnutrition, malaria and parasitic infections. It mentions Jennifer Townsend experience of sleeping on the ground and Daphne Campbell helped to divide the health care volunteers into teams.
