- Abstract
The article reports on the plans of the subsidiary of the company Nuclear-Chicago, Nuclear-Chicago Europa N. V., to start up its engineering and manufacturing facilities in its new quarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The decision came up in a meeting between consul general of the subsidiary, William H. Lambooy, and two Nuclear-Chicago vice presidents, John L. Kuranz and William M. Cousins. A portable radiation detector was presented by Kuranz to Lambooy who in turn presented a pewter vase from Holland and a book about Netherlands.
