The aim of the study is to examine the gender and age-based social and spatial organization and unequal spatial relations produced by discriminatory discourses and representations of older women in tourism spaces. For this purpose in the study, a qualitative research method was applied, face-to-face interviews were conducted with 20 female travelers aged 65 and over traveling to Antalya city center for tourism purposes, and the data were analyzed. According to the findings of the research, older women are not passive subjects who internalize the gender and age-based discriminatory social and spatial representations constructed in everyday life without questioning them. On the contrary, older women are active subjects who defend their individual rights, remind them of the laws, try to overcome gender roles and struggle with the consequences of the aging process.
