A commentary in response to an article published in the journal about the expansion of social discourse analysis regarding what is termed commercial detriments of health is presented. It discusses transnational corporations as the source of many non-communicable diseases (NCDs), public health debate, and the use of social discourse in policy debate narratives and best practices.
