- Abstract
The Seminar "Innovative Projects in Mathematics Education" has recently been included as a closing space for the Mathematics Teaching career at the National University of Rosario (Argentina), having been implemented for the first time in 2021. It consists of a plausible way of articulating teaching, innovation and specialized training for the future Mathematics teacher, as a professional representative of this discipline in society at different educational levels. Specifically, this article shares the curricular proposal (units, objectives, assignments, readings), as well as the student productions (titles, objectives, categories, findings) that were materialized after an academic year of work. In the development of the Seminar, each student designs, executes and analyzes a project that, in some sense, they consider innovative in some branch of Mathematics Education. It is considered that this type of proposal strengthens the conditions of professional training, by having the next graduate with more elaborate tools in terms of their mathematical knowledge for teaching, from a reflexive praxis of action and for action.
