- Abstract
The article presents a research that deals with the assessment of the differences of nutrient cycles between water column and sediment in three models of sea cucumber farming. The study concerns three farming methods which are sea cucumber monoculture, sea cucumber-shrimp, and sea cucumber-shrimp-jellyfish polyculture systems. It evaluates the potential effects of sea cucumber farming to the environment of aquaculture ponds. Materials and methods used in the study, as well as the results obtained from the research are also discussed.
