- Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the perception of school administrators related to problem solving skills. Screening model is used for the research. The 203 school administrators, who are employed in Karatay and Selcuklu counties in Konya during 2009-2010 education year, participated to research. The "Problem Solving Inventory" which was developed by Heppner and Petersen (1982) was applied to 203 school administrators who participated to research. The arithmetic mean, standard deviation, independent t test and one-way analysis of variance from statistical operation were used in the analysis of data that obtained with 35 item-scales in type of five point likerts. In the end of the research it has been seen that the perception of school administrator related to problem solving skill is in x = 4.08, s: .39 level in self-confidence behavior, x = 3.96, s: .40 level in approach avoidance behavior and x = 3.61, s: .54 (agree) level in personal control behavior. Also in the analysis which was done according to demographical qualification, it has been reached that there is not any significant difference between views of administrators
