- Abstract
The article discusses various interstate transmission challenges in regards to renewable energy in the U.S. as of November 2012, focusing on the nation's electric power industry and transmission grid, as well as issues related to wind power. American transmission law and policy in the twenty-first century are addressed, along with federalism, state renewable energy and transmission policies, and federal laws which govern the siting of transmission lines. Federal preemption is also examined.
